<< No, wwf ratings are suffering because of all the injured wrestler >>
Nah, they're suffering because TV is already saturated with plenty of other comedy shows.

I don't know what's wrong, as Benoit looked awesome in the matches with Austin, got treated like a mega star by the Canadian crowds, and yet his crowd responses and ratings in the last two weeks have been horrible.
That's why they should SCRAPE HIM OFF. The crowd can get into him during a match when he busts out cool stuff like 10 german suplexes or a dive off the cage, but Angle got a bigger damn face pop during the entrances than Benoit did last night. It's not working, people aren't buying into Benoit as a top level babyface, take him out of the main events or turn him heel.
Jericho's doing okay so don't job him to Rhyno anymore and put him in some situations to look awesome against Austin like Benoit got. Badda bing, problem solved.
I'm wondering where all those who are to come out with their evidence of the ratings and stuff about why this isn't working, much like when Taker was on top. I've stated that if Benoit/Jericho got the push and things didn't improve, we'd hear nothing about it... and I was right. A bunch of people were talking about how Taker would get huge pops but the fans at home didn't care, much like WCW with Hogan. But now even the live audience fans don't care about Benoit, and yet nobody's suggesting that maybe something should change.
Don't get me wrong, I LIKE Benoit. I'm glad he's main eventing cause he's awesome. But if it was ANYBODY but Chris Benoit out there in main events with those piss-poor reactions, be it Taker or Rikishi or whoever... all we'd hear is that the WWF isn't listening to the fans and they're trying to push someone down our throats that we don't want and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE. Are we hearing any of that? No. But the situation IS happening and something needs to be done about it.
And the dumbest part is that, instead of ADMITTING that this isn't really working, we're starting to see every little thing Benoit or Jericho do picked apart to try reasoning that they're being booked poorly and it's the WWF's fault. You can't even say anymore that "well, ratings were falling cause of the Taker stuff so this doesn't mean anything", cause they went UP last week and now they dropped again. FIVE WEEKS of Benoit and Jericho as the top babyfaces has translated to nothing.
Long story short, I hope Invasion is Austin vs. Bradshaw and that the ratings start going up every week just to see people's heads explode.
