I don't get the hype behind those. Their coffee tastes like shit and the cappuccinos/espresso are horrible.

I have a Bunn coffee maker at home and I buy a 5lb bag of beans every few months from Deans Beans online, their Moka Sumatra is a light/dark blend I really enjoy. I store the beans in an air tight container in a cool dark place in the kitchen and I burr grind enough beans every morning to make half a pot of coffee.

I don't really know the measure of beans, my grinder has a hopper and I turn the knob to 3 to get enough ground coffee to make 1/2 a pot. If I had to guess I'd say it is around 1/3-1/2 cup of ground coffee.

2.5 50cc scoops. If I'm using whole bean, I do the same as Doc, and fill the hopper of the grinder as full as I can. I never measured it, but it comes out right.
