It typically depends. I usually walk on one side of a hallway anyway. I'm not really sure why and it happens to normally be the right side. If i'm in the line of someone, i tend to just stop and let them move to their right. It also depends on who is doing what. If I am in a grocery store and I don't have a cart and they do, i will usually do the moving. Just depends on the situation really.

No, you broke it.

England is one of the few places that stays to the left. I think it's England, Australia, and Japan.

Just about everywhere else stays to the right. When I travelled through Europe England was the only place that kept to the left.

I see who has the right of way. If they do, I move for them. If I do, I keep on going and sometimes plow people. I had one person get made at me because they were walking on the wrong side of the hallway and they refused to move, bumping into me. I told them they must have missed that class in 1st grade where they tell you to stay right, and they got embarrassed and left.

If it is a hott girl, then i will move out of the way , but other than that, they cam move out of my path, if they dont, then i run into them.

Depends on the situation. By myself, I will usually move over to avoid the other person.

If with another person, I will fall back behind my companion in single file.

But if I see the people coming at me are too rude to even make an attempt to move over, I usually run head on into them.

More annoying in my book due to the frequency is:

1. People drifting aimlessly across the sidewalk/pavement blocking any attempt of an overtake, seemingly by some kind of ESP as to your next move
2. Walking real slow - fine if there's some obvious physical reason or small kids are involved, otherwise pick up the pace
3. Stopping at random - can't wait til I have kids so I can push the pram straight into the offender's legs

A combination of all three is agony and should be punishable by death.

Yeah, that really bothers me too.

That and when there's a bus stop and people just make a huge group in the middle of the sidewalk blocking it all instead of making a line parallel to the sidewalk on one side as to let people walk by...

When I walk I walk on the right side unless I am passing someone on the left. If they are walking on a direct collision course with me then they had better move out of the way as they are otherwise likely to get hit.

I walk at about 1.5meters per second.
My mass is about 125 kg

Thats about 187.5 kg*m/s ... people tend to get out of my way pretty quickly
