Where are 1080/1440p curved monitors?

Anyone know when curved monitors (either 1080p or 1440p, ie 16:9-ish AR) will be sold commercially (and reasonably priced)? Searching on Google resulted in those weird 21:9 AR monitors or news of curved monitors coming out, but no actual curved monitor.

Curved phones came out a few years ago, and curved TVs last year. Both, IMHO, are terrible applications of curved screens. Ever since the curved phones were announced, I've been yearning for curved computer monitors. When curved TVs came out, I was like "WTF!"

I'm hoping to upgrade my 2009 24" Dell LCD, but I really want a curved monitor.

The curved monitor is mainly for those who want ultrawide imagery, eg., 21:9. The porpose is to allow the users eyes to be equidistant from all parts of the screen. Curving a small size for that purpose makes no sense, and really would not be cost effective. Curved phones are wrap around - a wholly different concept designed to make more image visible in a smaller area.

Have to say, I don't get the point of curved TV's...I get the point of being equidistant to the eyes and more natural, but that only applies to those sitting direcly in front of it. How many households in the world have a setup where everyone is sitting in the proper spot for a curved screen?

Since when do we have everyone sitting in front of a computer monitor? The question is not about TVs - they are not computer peripherals. To benefit from a curvature, TVs would need to be ultrawide . feet or meters, not inches. And, they are available now for a premium price.

Hmm, thanks.. What I was thinking was buying 2 of them to flank a single flat monitor as part of my gaming PC setup. A 21:9 curved monitor sort of demands to be the middle monitor which doesn't fit my particular (unique?) preference.
