Where are the NF3 250 boards?

We have all seen the reviews of the MSI, chaintec and a few other brands with this chipset. But most seem to be just a little off, and not quite there.

I've seen a few links on manfacturers sites with the ASUS and Abit boards, but no reviews yet. Plus availability at retail outlooks seems to be non-existent.

I think that these boards will be few and far between for now, and we'll all have to wait for socket 939 to come out. The big thing with that is that it will probably need a completely new board layout. Can't just change the socket layout, cause they will need 4 dimm's for the dual channel (instead of the 3 they have now). So we'll probably be waiting much longer for socket 939. Probably wont be in full force until well into the summer. This really sucks, cause I got 2 grand in my pocket waiting for something finally worth while, and the only thing holding me back right now is a decent motherboard for A64.

I've seen a few reviews...there's a lot of good stuff "in the pipe" but it's time to open the dang pipe already!!

An NF3250GB Socket 939 board w/no bugs for me, please.

Hehe...I think we just jynxed it. Now I bet we'll have the 939 boards within the next month, but we'll have to wait 4 more months for the 939 A64's.

Good lord I can't wait for Socket 939. Just think, we'll get standard DCDDR and 64bit goodness. What we'll be waiting on is WinXP64, not A64 chips.

Quite frankly, I don't care too much about the 64 bit capabilities of the chip. If it was simply a 32 bit chip, it would still kickass. I just consider the fact that probably some time next year (maybe late this year), I'll finally have another choice for an operating system. Apps and drivers will definately take some time, so we really wont see that come into full force until probably after the current chips are already too old. So I say just buy it for the kickass 32 bit performance.

I agree with "Buy it for the kickass 32-bit performance." That's why most of us want it!!

If we were running 64-bit apps...we wouldn't be enthusiasts; we'd be Engineers.

IMO, the A64 is the biggest PC breakthru in the past three years. BTX is still a dim flicker in a far off window, and PCI-E doesn't seem to be coming on too strongly..

Some of us ARE engineers. But I don't want 64bit for workstation apps, I want it for games. Tim Sweeney has said some great things about 64bit gaming, I can't wait to see it first hand.
