Where can I buy those little cardboard things that go into the collar of a dress shirt?

A few of my current dress shirts seems to have lost those cardboard things. I think they might have fallen out. Anywhere I can buy those? I meant to call them Collar Stays

I have seen them at Marshall Fields - I think they have plastic or metal ones.

I hope you meant the plastic collar stays and not the cardboard thing they have in there when you first purchased the shirt. It's there only to keep the shape so they can display it in the windows...

Lol. Anywho, I have like a stack of 10 of those plastic sticks from Gap. No, I didn't steal them, they came with shirts and I hate the stiffness. That and I went paranoid about those things raping the shirt in the washer and when ironed. Yours for $50 a piece or you make a trip to the store and 'try' some new shirts on:roll::disgust:.

You are thinking of cheap collared shirts. Nicer ones are supposed to have the "collar stays" left in them. I only own one shirt like that and did not purchase it myself or I would have never known myself.

when you go get your dress shirts dry cleaned, ask them if they can give you some, or i know that most dry cleaners sell them by packets.

Nicer ones aren't made of cardboard; the OPs were. Cardbaord ones are simply part of the packaging.

They sell them in plastic at any department store. If you feel like being extra fancy, you can also get them in metal

The Men's Warehouse by me has a box of them on the counter by the checkout.

I usually grab a few when I stop there, since I tend to forget about them and lose them in the wash process.

I haven't been there in awhile, but they were free the last time I was there buying shirts.
