Yeah, I saw that yesterday. I'm wondering now with all the pre-orders that they've done (including the $299.99 one that I got in on) who are they going to honor first when they finally get their shipment in. My order shows a release date tomorrow (7/6) but they have already taken tons of orders at $299.99, $399.99, and now $359.99. It's going to be interesting how many orders that tney actually plan to fill this next week. I'm thinking that I won't be seeing this card any time soon.

Most people ended up paying tax anyway so the 359 isn't an awesome deal imho. It is if you don't pay the tax, though.

GT OC is better than just GT. Good choice with the GT OC from BB since that is probably the best price so far and they will ship soon. You said hopefully before christmas, but do expect it to ship in a couple days (within a week hopefully). That is their estimate and it seems to be a somewhat valid estimate.

After 22 dollars in Tax, like Apophis mentioned above, it was still only 389 with 2 Day shipping. I didn't want to take a chance with ground because this site is no Newegg.com for sure. And they likely use UPS's snail mail that takes 1-2 weeks.

I'm guessing the DVD. I doubt they would want to stuff 5-6 CDs into one package. But I don't know for sure.


Is there any sites that list the 6800GT exclusivly for benchmarks? Between the 6800U and non Ultra?

I got my eVGA 6800GT Last Wednesday from eVGA.

Its the 5 CD version.

Not everyone has DVD drives yet.
