Where can I get a DVI out for my Foxconn 6150?

You mean a dvi to vga dongle?

I got this same board for my wife, so I'm not sure what you mean by DVI out.

I thought the 6150 chipset allowed a header on the mobo that would allow a DVI to monitor connection. I don't know the name of the part but I think I've read where with that chipset one could connect 2 monitors at the same time, one being vga and the other being dvi.

I see no indication of that on the manufacturer's site, and the board has no headers with nearly enough pins to handle a DVI-D signal.

hell cares, if he doesn't wanna try it out with a few dollars for a dongle, he can just suck it up by not getting a display that requires a DVI connection. As simple as that. Otehrwise, if you are that inclined, a 25 dollar PCI/PCI-e video card isn't going to hurt.

Integrated graphics were never that great. However it did allow me to play Warcraft III at max settings, using a P4 2.53 GHz Northwood on an Intel Extreme graphics solution, 1024x768, isn't that something...? It's great, fine, but it's not the greatest?

I'm very very confused now. Not to be an ass (and someone call me on it if I'm just too tired) but that post makes almost no sense to me...

The chipset does have that capability, but I don't know if it's wired up and enabled on your board. The thread listed below says there is no on-board DVI and the global site does not list DVI as among the headers. For a lot of info on 6150 here's a link to the huge thread on the MSI skt 939 board. http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview...atid=29&threadid=1803985&enterthread=y The first page is periodically updated and has info you may find interesting. The rest of the thread mentions other 6150 boards thruout but is mostly for the MSI board.

The foxconn board with the onboard dual display DVI + VGA output is the 6150K8MD -8EKRSH.

The 6150K8MA you have does not support that capability with onboard video.
