Where can I get Socket 370 mainboard these days?

One of my buddy's mainboard just went dead. His processor (PIII 800 w 133MHZ fsb) and 512 MB of PC133 SDRAM are still working so he only wants to replace to mainboard. ( don't have enough money to by a new CPU + DDR RAM)

Does anyone know a reliable online vendor where I can order a NEW mainboard for that processor? Even newegg don't carry these boards anymore and the companies who carry such boards on pricewatch are either out of stock or have very bad reviews.

I am looking for a new board < $80 that will support his existing processor & RAM and has a AGP slot for a 4X AGP video card.

Any recommendations?

Before you possibly pay a premium for such an old rarity, how 'bout an ECS K7S5Apro, a Duron-1600 and of course a new fan/heatsink? That'll be about spot on your $80 threshold, be lots faster, and still run your PC133 SDRAM.

That's good idea but I have to check his power supply first. (I remember he only got a 200 W PSU )
Don't think that's enough for a Duron 1600 ...

I know spending $80 on such an old MB sounds really dumb, but this is the only option fits my friend's budget.

The used board (with onborad audio and lan) cost around $40 on Ebay. I am not sure if they are worth the risk because they have been used for 2 ~ 3 years too.

Full-featured S370 PIII boards are still available, its just that they're a bit pricey for an old platform. I am not endorsing any particular reseller, though I've personally had no complaints with Axiontech, mWave, or eWiz (no experience with the others). I would warn against the K7S5A with a 200W powersupply, I had one and those really should have at least a 350W.
