Where can I order a 100 or so pack of batteries?

After some time even the 20 pack of batteries seems kind of pointless so I'm looking for a 100 pack or something of AA batteries. My dad and I haven't ever liked rechargeable batteries so we want to avoid those. I don't want to purchase some random brand's battery that isn't going to last long either.

Incase I got the point out wrong, I'm not looking for the cheapest available, just Duracell/Energizer quality in larger quantities so we can get a lower price per battery.

Just wondering.. why would you need so many AA batts and what you don't like about rechargables?

Well, we don't need that many right now, but they end up being used.

One thing is in walkie talkies, we have a few that have a 5 mile radius that we use pretty often, especially my brother when he goes around, the other 3 of us have cell phones.

We've used rechargeables in the past and what we don't like about them is how long they last. We tried many brands years ago and just never found one we could use a lot that would still be fine after lots of uses. We would discharge them completely and then recharge them too

Have they improved over the past few years?

But honestly, for a 40 pack that is $8.75 plus shipping, we may just do that, although shipping is just about the same

Oh yeah, our Canon A80 uses quite a bit as well

Maybe I should just get a nice charger and set of rechargeable batteries

If it's used for high-drainage stuff, personally I think NiMH rechargables is the only way to go..

Get a good Maha/Ripvan 100 Lightning charger and a few of those 2100mAH Sanyo/Powerex AAs.. those should last you a long time!

Check out the newer rechargeable batteries. I had some a *long* time ago that sucked, but the new ones are better than regular batteries.

Even some Rayovac 15 minute-ers. They're ready in 15 minutes (to the minute) at last a long time. Although I'm sure some of the less-mainstream brands (like screw3d suggested) might be better.

The new rechargable batteries are quite good... you should try them. I have a Maha charger and Powerex 2300 mAH batteries and they last a long time.
