where did my micro sd card go?

I lost the microSD card for my Nook. I was trying to put it in the slot, and it was just gone. Couldn't find it anywhere. Looked for an hour. Mystified me.

Turns out it went inside the case between the card slot and the case.

Opened up that corner of the case, and there it was.

sorting through laundry for wash, it was on the floor between the clothes and the basket. it is over 10 whole feet away. that sucker really flew!

Hey, wirednuts. Perhaps you can tell me: Will an HTC Sensation boot with no battery while plugged in? My friend's phone may be broken but it could just be that the battery wont charge. I already replaced the screen once about a year ago but this seems different because I can't always get it to boot with the EL lit soft keys lighting up.

that is one of the reasons i hate micro SD. i have a bunch of them and have lost 2-3 of them this year.

I have a Rubbermaid drawer right next to the computer and theres a special little place for all my flash memory, USB or not.

i have on too. with 5 drawers. i keep pens in one, pencils, eyeglass stuff, junk and then memory (flash, usb etc)

if your soft keys light up but no screen i think youre in trouble.

my sensation doesnt do jack shit plugged in without the battery in it. no lights, no nothing. mind you, i dont know if it matters but mine is S-off, rooted, jb rom, and CID unlocked

Last year before I replaced the screen it was at least booting. You could tell because it would buzz and then the soft keys would light up a bit later. Now I have to play with it forever while messing with the charge port to get the buzz and even then the soft keys never come on. I think it is dead and unable to charge. Playing with the plug enough to get it to momentarily charge/come on, it still can't make it to the point where the soft keys light up without going dead. I did get them to come on once but they stayed on so I think I locked the phone up or something when playing with it and was probably ruining the battery.
