Can't carry gun while jogging could be one reason why American are fat.
What happens to "Serve and Protect"?Well as my police officer friends will tell you, they are not being paid to protect you. They are paid to arrest criminals and if they feel like it, help you. If you want protection, it is up to you to provide it. If you can't afford to live someplace where you don't need protection, then what are you going to do? Run back in forth in your apartment and hope it doesn't get robbed?
Can't be everywhere at once. Think about it for a minute.

I am so scared of the world that I actually never leave my house without my tank and my bear-dogs to protect me.
I'm not sure what fear has to do with this discussion.
Is one afraid of fire because he/she owns a fire extinguisher?
If one straps the fire extinguisher to themselves while jogging, yes.

Not quite.
I'm not trying to insult anyone, but if you feel the need to have a firearm with you then you are, in a way, living in fear of something bad happening. Not necessarily saying it is bad to be prepared...

I guess if you want to use that definition then just about everyone in the world lives in fear.

Neither do I, but what does that have to do with anything?
No, but I almost needed one today. I was chased by 2 large dogs, one retriever and one belgian shepherd. The retriever went away after being yelled at only twice, I had to yell at the shepherd 3 times before it started to turn away. After all that the owner finally called the dogs back. I was so pissed.Originally posted by: Hoober

There's no difference between those pussies and you.

I carry my pistol in a triathlon stem bag while cycling.
Bento box?
I've never carried a gun when cycling despite many thousands of miles and a few century rides.
