No wonder you're so twisted.

As a moderator,I would think that you would be more neutral. Just because his views differ from yours he's twisted? You're a joke.

Sorry Zipper, I didn't make that comment as a Moderator. Now if you think I'm a joke as a member that's fine as it's your opinion. On the other hand any comments about me as a Moderator or my moderating isn't allowed to be made in this forum. Consider this advice from another member, if you have any comments or complaints about me or any other Moderator take it to PFI, PM the Mods or Derek.

If you view fox and drudge as good news sources, then you're twisted too. Mods are only mods when they are moderating. Otherwise, they're members like you or me. They can dish out and receive shit just like you or me. I guess some people are too dense to understand this. Maybe there should be an action available for mods to take for members who are too dense to grasp this simple concept.

my main source of national news is the NY times. I also read the star tribune (msp) about 3 times a week, and the wsj occasionally. I also read newsweek, watch JS/colbert on hulu and Meet the Press. Finally, P&N, googlenews, anda few others for random stories, and cnn during breaks between classes tuesday and thursday

i'm been meaning to start reading the washington post more often and the economist, but haven't gotten around to it.

By listening to as wide a range as possible of news sources - CNN, MSNBC and FOX, radio from NPR to limbaugh, commentary shows from olbermann to glenn beck.

You need to hear it all to come to an independent determination on what is and isnt bullshit - and theres plenty of BS coming from all the sources. If you just get all your news from one source, or especially listen to just one talking head, you're basically letting someone else tell you whats relevant, and then what to think about it.

there is credible political news? that is news to me. figure by the time we get news from any source it has been so tainted i would guess it is really anything resembling credible, and i say this for both sides.

i didn't see a option for this in the poll....

Alternative media? Local newspaper where you get a lot of facts and quotes?

Should I make first-hand an option for people who only get their news form their own optic nerves?

Credible, now that word has many connotations

Here in the States it is very hard because so many papers, tv stations, websites are agenda driven.

I usually sort through the mountain of crap we call "News" and get to the real story.

Sometimes I just tune out as its so much work to ascertain the truth.
