Well...the middle east has been at war in one form or another for the past couple of thousand years...Korea/North Korea is STILL technically at war...they only signed a ceasefire in 1953...India and Pakistan have been skirmishing for decades...and China and Russia have had quite a few skirmishes as well...Antarctica and Switzerland are about the only places that haven't been at war in one way or another over the past 100 years.

I was going to say that. WWI was "the war to end all wars." Then came WWII, and so on. Hell! We survived the flipping "cold war."

China and Russia look to be pretty sinister, well the DPRK more than any. But you have Iran in this shit pile too.

Hmm this is a tough one. If history is any indication the next large war will be fought in either Europe, the Middle East, or Asia but you only gave Asia or the Middle East as a choice. Given those options I'll take the Asian option.

Tbh Iran is far less likely to start a war than Saudi Arabia or Israel. Those want the Shiites dead, while Iran has been trying to help Iraq fight against IS, instead of bombing civilians like the Saudis have been doing in Yemen.
