It depends on what you mean by benefit. Tangible benefits? Posting here won't grow your portfolio, improve your health, mow your lawn, or give you whiter whites and brighter brights.

What if might do is provide information and intellectual stimulation... if we could sustain productive discussion. Unfortunately, there are too many here dedicated to disrupting good discussion. There are still great tidbits here and there, but it takes work to find them.

Hey look a real reply to my question. And that is the issue I have seen with this forum over the past few years. There is really no intellectual stimulation. Discussions cant be sustained worth a dick. Threads devolve into snarky one liners, gotchas, and personal attack. And it isn't just the echo chamber neither that is guilty. The few people who claim to be conservative who still post here do so to inflame the mob.

So to an avg conservative poster I doubt it is a benefit or worth their time to partake in this forum anymore. I can count on my finger tips posters who bother with trying to have an actual discussion.

I think there are quite a few more. The problem is that they have been labeled and as such are dismissed. I would say P&N has gotten worse in terms of discourse, but, there are for sure many more than the people you posted.

While not as bad, it for sure carries a negative connotation. Embracing the term does not seem to change much, as its not uncommon for a group to embrace a term. Its how the N word has changed and almost nobody would say that because of that its not intrinsically a slur because not all associations are entirely negative.

Also, keep in mind this stems from this...

"The lookism racist discriminates because he doesn't have a preference for their appearance.

The environmental racist discriminates because he resents how they are due to various factors that make them violent and uneducated."

To me both of those statements could be used to describe a situation with Rednecks. Its a perspective that I cannot make sense of.

Well, yeah, I wouldn't tend to use it myself. Much like the word 'chav' and for much the same reasons. But I do seem to see it used somewhat positively quite often, people declaring themselves proud to be a redneck, etc. I don't pick up a equivalent level of stigma about the word to the n-word. But I don't have any first-hand experience with the context.

You can't have a meaningful discussion with people when the place is censored, and the censorship is worshipped by the remaining users/losers like this is some sort of drugged up orwellian mental hospital. What is the point? You made your bed, and the day will come when you lay in it. I for one and not going to defend you. Better keep a diaper under those Pjs.

So are you going to stop crying and actually provide something of substance to back that up?

What's the point? Yet here you are crying and crying. Let us know when you're old enough to get out of your crib.

Well at least you can provide firsthand advice for something, which is a step up for 99% of you whiny bitch conservatives' posts in this subforum. Let us know when you stopped bawling and maybe we'll let you sit at the big kids table for a bit, well at least until your inevitable next tantrum.

There do seem to be less conservatives here now. Hopefully it's because it's become impossible to defend the current "administration" if you can call it that. I think it's better termed the deconstruction of the federal government and American world-presence.

Most likely they've moved on to heavily skewed conservative message boards where they don't have to deal with the inconvenient blowback.

The blowback is quite intense, I must say. Rightly so, I must say (no pun intended).

You don't have to defend Trump to be a conservative. I'm a pretty conservative fellow (with a few wildly progressive ideas), and I want nothing more than for Trump to shut the fuck up. Ban him from twitter at the same time. Beyond that, he's done a few things I approve of that may turn out badly, won't know for sure till it's done. He's also done some things I don't agree with at all. This has been the same for every president I can remember.

Not to worry folks, the moment our resident conservatives see that they won more than they lost in this election, they'll all be piling back in to brag about it just like it was 2016 all over again, and of course, they will point out the notion that it was Trump's policies and magnetic personality that gave them the edge.

Losing the HOR isn't winning. Losing governorships isn't winning, either.

Except there were more conservative people here when they were "losing".

And people still are clueless as to why the "conservative" posters don't seem to be around? If this isn't a parody thread, Houston we have a problem.

Theyre certainly know for being rational.

Their rationality has nothing to do with it. If the argument is that they will come because they want to gloat, we should have had more coming to the forum now vs then. We see the opposite which should call into question the idea. How rational they are/would be is thus irrelevant.

I also don't think more will come because they just lost as well. I think winning or losing is not a real factor to drive them in or out of this forum.

So if the Left is to blame for being to aggressive, do you carry any blame for purposefully trying to trigger them?

You're using rational argument to describe the actions of irrational people. We can disagree, it's cool.

No, I'm using logic to point out that the conclusion of the argument is invalidated by history. Its super simple.

Logic applied to irrational minds. Well played sir.

Again no. I'm not using logic to explain irrational minds. I'm using logic to show that the prediction is wrong. I'm not predicting what will happen, which would be trying to use logic to irrational actions. I'm not invalidating the claim and making one of my own. I'm just invalidating the claim by using logic.

Ban him from twitter at the same time

As tempting as that sounds I would argue against it. Twitter is the only way we know what's rattling around in his head. That may be a double-edged sword, but I would not have his malicious intent massaged by some speechwriter. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

There's also the benefit that every POS he spews is an official Presidential statement. When he confesses to a criminal act? There's the proof. There are thousands of leagues of Twitter rope to hang himself and he does so brilliantly

I don't know if you are entirely right. Let's take Trump when he does batshit crazy stuff.

"Why did Trump say that the could have the Senate investigate the House?"

A rational explanation of the irrational Trump.

"He's an asshole that's fucked in the head with no sense whatsoever".
