Where have you traveled to recently?

I finally made it out of Toronto a couple days ago..got all the way to Orangeville. How about you guys?

Chicago a few weeks ago, Indianapolis a few months before that, Wisconsin Dells a few weeks before that, Charlotte a few weeks before that, then sometime before all that I came out of a vagina.

My whole family (parents/bro/sis & their kids/spouses) and my family did a family trip to Oahu over the summer. Spent 10 days at the Aulani Resort. While I enjoyed my time there, I won't be back to Oahu or Aulani probably ever again unless the trip was free or something. Way too expensive and commercialized. We're planning another trip to Cabo, where at least we can get all inclusive.

Lol we got lost in Orangeville once. We were traveling and saw the sign and my mom is like "wonder what's in Orangeville?" and my dad is like "let's go check it out". And that is how we added about 3 hours to our trip. lol. I don't know what we were expecting, orange trees or something? lol.

The last place I traveled to was Cochrane for a hockey game last year. About an hour or so from here. I don't really do much traveling.

Our last official actual vacation was in Wasaga Beach. Being a ginger, I'm not fond of spending more than a few hours at the beach though. A week is a killer.

Was in Grand Cayman December 13th to 18th. I'm most likely going back in March for 4-5 nights since I wasn't able to complete my OW certification due to getting sick, and I'm itching to get it done, as well as complete my Advanced OW certification.

Currently in Australia after having roadtripped from Melbourne to Perth. Going to be going to Singapore and Malaysia in two weeks and buying a motorcycle in Vietnam to ride through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Loas. Maybe hit up the Philippines on my way back to Perth in April or May and then driving clockwise through the rest of Australia in (hopefully) a Mitsubishi Delica and back to Melbourne.

that sounds awesome! did you make it to uluru, or are you going to do that in winter when going back to melbourne? i wanted to go there when i visited australia a couple years ago but it was november and already too hot there.

The best part is it was basically an all-expenses paid one-week vacation. My work sent me there to upgrade the firmware on some customer systems and I managed to get it done in two days rather than the five they thought it would take. Stayed at the Intercontinental in Sydney, had all my food paid for, and flew business class.

awesome! i almost stayed at the intercontinental but saved a little cash by staying at the meriton down in mascot, only so i could then blow it by staying at the park hyatt in melbourne. nicest hotel i've ever stayed in by far.
