Check if you have a ballroom with open dancing. I go there with my wife all the time and see tons of nice single women hoping for a guy to come along. The places I go to all have dance lessons. During this lesson you switch partners every few minutes to make sure you aren't learning bad habits from your partner. So this way you will get a chance to talk to them without seeming like it is just a come-on. I can't think of a better place for me to find a nice woman (if I didn't already have one). It is just so much classier than the bar scene.

I went to the art museum today and there were TONS of hot college-age chicks there. Lots of milfs too. I don't know though, it's kind of hard to strike up a conversation in an art museum when everything's so quiet.

edit: and I'm definitely going to try the Barnes and Noble thing.

The B&N idea was excellent. I've known this for a while and it really is true.

I've got another good idea for ya'll. This is for the college fellas. When you're in class it's hard to tell which girls are classy and which are snobs, right? Here's what you do: accidently drop a pack of loose-leaf paper in the middle of the classroom as you sit down. Snobby girls will just sit there, but the classy women will help you pick the paper up. I've used this technique no less than five times and every time I got a really fun and classy female friend out of it. No relationships yet. I told this to a female friend of mine and she agreed that it was a good technique. However, she tried it and found that the reverse is not true - gals can't use it effectively on guys.
