what grayzone? I would classify them as an anti-neocolonialism site, or anti-MSM, pro-USA propaganda site.

regardless, you haven't addressed any of my questions. most are yes/no questions, not even short answers.

1. Where do you get your information about China from?
I'm going to assume from US media, unless you've lived in China, or are fluent in Chinese.
2. Have US media and politicians intentionally lied before?
3. Does the US have a record of interfering in other countries, lead coups and color revolutions around the globe?
4. Does the US have a vested interest in demonizing other nations such as Russia and China?
5. where is the mass flight from china from xinjiang due to this genocide?
6. why does the US not only not condemn Saudi Arabia for their actual genocide of yemeni's, but fund and arm their cause?

So you cannot read Chinese, but is convinced they are more truthful than US media

I don't have illusions about what US, UK, France have done around the globe. But we are talking about China here. Atart your own thread on the West if you wish.

Point is Olympics is supposed to be above politics, so a political rebuff shows the politicians do not approve of Chinese actions and at the aame time does not impact the athletes going to compete.
Wow, seriously?
Let me break this down for you since you are having problems following along.
I am not touting Chinese media. I'm sure they have their own propaganda.
I am debunking western anti-china propaganda.

If olympics is to be kept separate from politics, then there shouldn't be any "diplomatic" boycott.
If there were truly genocide happening, then there should be a full boycott. pick one.
the US has fully boycotted olympics before. if you can't see this as a political maneuver to demonize china on the world stage, then I have nothing else to say.
fortunately, other countries aside from US' lapdogs are following along in this boycott.

If you need a reason to cancel the Olympics, the fact that they are feeling the need to shut down entire cities due to the pandemic might be a good one. They are attempting to set up a bubble (similar to the NBA did for the playoffs, but obviously on a much larger scale). One you are in, no contact with the outside world. Good luck with that. One case of Omicron in that bubble and....

I don't dispute that certain radicalized uighurs are being round up and put into re-education camps, as this video shows (and of course they purposely make the video as dark and dreary as possible with ominous background music).
But I have extreme doubts over the genocide claim, and the nubmers, which there is absolutely no evidence of, and the US knows it.

Instead, let's take a look at the body of evidence, or lack of.
No bodies, no mass exodus, no refugee crisis in neighboring countries, no forced labor, no "cultural" genocide - street signs, store signage, books, currency, etc. all use uighur language. No religious restrictions other than requiring beards to be shaved for facial recognition.
Instead we have increase in population, increase in lifespan, increase in income and wealth.
china, being such an efficiently brutal, authoritarian state shouldn't be this bad at genociding uighurs if that's what they set out to accomplish.

btw, the footage of the "detainees" are actual prisioners. you know.. uighurs do also commit crimes in xinjiang.

yes, it did, via laws written during british rule.
what did I tell about trusting western media? clearly you're not a fast learner.

Stand News regularly called for Western countries to hit Hong Kong with sanctions to damage our economy. In the US, citizens who call on foreign governments to undermine their country commit a crime under the Logan Act. Hostile collusion with foreign governments is illegal in most places. Nobody likes it, and pretty much all countries have systems with which to deal with it.

Humm, Apple Daily has been supporting pro democratic movement in HK, wonder why they got shut down. Must be western influence. I still remember the Chinese promise of no change for 50 years. I guess Chinese years are shorter. The fact that China shut down HK newspapers is in violation of Sino-British Joint Declaration. Margaret Ng has been a thorn in China's side for a long time.

Must be nice to run an election where the candidates have to be pre approved by Beijing...

yeah, must be nice to have elections at all, whereas during british rule, there were no elections and UK directly appointed a governor.

what's never mentioned is that HK has been been extremely prosperous and ranked higher than the US on freedom index, yet the UK and US are trying to liberate HK, but interfering and organizing color revolutions.

Liberate how? It's Chinese territory. It's just China not keeping its own words. One Nation, Two Systems, remember?

They are doing what they've been trying to do to China since Tibet - to sow separatism.

yeah, changes had to be made such as enacting a national security law to prevent the aforementioned.
they still have their own financial system and currency, and are an SAR.

LoL China annexed Tibet, or are you claming that didn't happen?

And the only reason the HK election rules were changed was because pro China candidates were soundly defeated on the last election, it was a slap in the face for CCP.

Tibet has been part of china for centuries, but we're veering way off topic.

here is a video from for FBI operative that stated that the US was going to use "Xinjiang as the next Taiwan". This was uploaded 7 years ago in 2015, but she's been making that statement since the late 2000s.
The CIA has been plotting this for decades - using uighurs to destabilize the region and slow china's growth. The same exact explanation given by US colonel wilkerson years later..

You don't have to watch the full 1 hour video, but if you are interested in the truth, watch at this linked timestamp for 5 minutes (around the 5 minute mark, but the segment about uighurs is from 0 - 10m).

"it's going to come to the point where we have someone like richard gere start giving speeches about how these people are being abused."

just think back historically, when have the US cared about muslims?
the US hates muslims, hates china, but yet they show so much concern over chinese muslims. even a fucking idiot can see through this BS.

Actually, it wasn’t that long ago when Serbians were rounding up Muslims and sending them to mass graves.

Guess what we did?? We gave the Serbs the business end of a few A-10s and F-16s.

“US hates China” - lol

The US and other western nations took huge risks to bring China into the world community of trade and diplomacy and so far it’s looking like that good will was a mistake. We got cheap goods along with a new imperial power in the world. Bad trade.

just like how we fund arm saudi arabia, an egregious offender of human rights, to kill yemenis.
same with israel and palestine.

don't confuse war profiteering and compassion.

low estimate nearly 1 million killed by US wars in the mid east

high estimate, 6 million including indirect causes

and this isn't counting the 35+ million that have been displaced.

Oh please. huge risks? you've got to be kidding me. the US "allies" with china when for geopolitical purposes, like during WW2 to fight the japanese.
in the era of opening up diplomacy to china, it was to pit china against russia.

and don't for a second think that "bringing china into the world community" was some benevolent act.
American companies went to China to make more profit than they could in US with US labor, and to establish a foothold into the future for themselves in China with their growing middle class of several hundred million. We moved manufacturing to China to not have to pay the $20 an hour that the US labor unions were asking for, paying an order of magnitude less for labor in China. We saw a huge pool of low waged workers and a market of several hundred million to exploit.

US and China's GDP growth grew in lockstep for the past couple of decades. the difference is that the wealth growth in the US is concentrated in the elite class, who conveniently use china as a scapegoat for all of US' economic woes. imagine how much better off the nation would be in if that wealth had "trickled down" to the masses.
but no, we'll blame another country that we willing brought our manufacturing over to instead.

I love how Xinjiang is being compared to Taiwan... Is she repeating CCP propaganda or did CCP ateal it from her?

if that's what you got out of the video, and the other one that showed how a US colonel was admitting to the strategy behind interfering in xinjiang through uighurs, and the other one where I showed how the CIA uses the media to distribute lies, then I have nothing more to say.

wrong again. that's 0 for 2 buddy.
simple googling could save you a lot of embarrassment. that, plus stop listening to and quoting MSM propaganda.

US - 41.4
China - 38.5

not only is China NOT "among the worst on the planet", it's more equal than the US.
and their recent actions are a sign that they intend to improve on this area.
the US? nah, we'll just keep making the rich richer, while more and more homeless people roam the streets.

also, nice of you to completely gloss over everything else I wrote though that disproved your previous post.
