St Augs is the oldest incorporated city in the US...it's also a bit of a touristy shitshow, if you ask me. But I've only been there 3 or 4 times, so maybe I missed some things.

For me, it's anywhere along the NC coast.

I think I'd chill on Bora Bora if I had to pick one place I've been. Super peaceful, but enough going on unlike some of the islands around the area.

aruba or turks and caicos.

i'd say turks and caicos is my favorite, but i've been to aruba 3x and want to go again this year (just went last year) so i'd say that is probably my favorite just since i've had return trips there, although i went to aruba 2x before i ever went to turks and caicos.

i've never seen a beach as beautiful as grace bay in t&c though, just mesmerizing to stare at the water and white sands. same with taylor bay.

i love the familiarity in aruba though and i drive all over the island. i also love that there is a breeze 24/7 so it is never too hot. the people there are just so nice too.

think im going to book a trip there for my birthday this year, although we may try antigua instead since we heard good things about it.

Did you take the time to boat on over to Anguila? I much prefer it to St Maarten. gorgeous area all around, though.

My favorite so far has been bumming around on the Rhine, we've done it 3 times now. There are plenty of trains and boats to get around, so no car needed, just a backpack. Last summer we spent 10 days getting the 70 miles from Koblenz down to Rudesheim, wandering the little towns, hiking around castles, and drinking wine.

i was in marathon for 6 days a month and a half ago, it was awesome. love it down there, so laid back and relaxing.

our 10 year anniversary in 2018 is when we are going to the french polynesian area. we plan to go to tahiti, bora bora, and maybe fiji. going to stay in an overwater bungalo for a portion of the time we're there too.

i'm not looking forward to that flight.
