I am not sure why so many are claiming publicly held companies don't give parties and / or bonuses. That is definitely not true.

Last company wasn't bad because as I mentioned, it was during the day at the office. The company before that had assorted events (concerts, "Christmas at the Zoo" for kids, etc) and they were always on the weekend. The company before that was the formal Saturday night affair. I just didn't really care for those kinds of parties.

Gotcha, I like my co-workers...we are all like minded, mostly extrovert types.

Our 'booze cruise' is insane, esp when the women find out we are highly paid and can get free drinks. I don't get to play anymore since I am in a committed relationship, but it's a nice perk.

Our holiday party is usually right at 5pm, people are expected to be seated by 6pm and officially goes to 7-8pm. If one want to enjoy more drinks the tab is usually open until 10-11pm depending on venue.

We get a decent meal and it's on a work night.

Our cruise is also designed to be during the week as to not impact family life so much.

Guess you missed the memo:

Lower end of average genius level I guess.

Lol. Gifted in the "special" class maybe. Having that piece of paper is like having a participation ribbon.

You're still an idiot.

Oh, and Merry Christmas.

Perhaps exceptional is not a word Canadians understand, eh?

Here is my post about that party:

The entire thing was a disaster, they went massively over budget, and almost no one showed, most of the committee that put it on did not even show (and they were given paid leave to go!).

OK, so it just sucked. They planned it poorly and wasnt any fun.

The reason I ask is I've heard horror stories that people went buck wild and got the parties shut down for life.

If that is really yours, what happened in your life to result in such an insecure person as the one you are in this thread?

It's not just this thread. He's a very angry little man.

yeah, I am insecure. I do poorly in crowded situations and I love chronic masturbation because I have learned women are out of my flight plan in life.

Are you Canadian too?

Perhaps you were exceptional in special education....perhaps.

Participation ribbon.

BTW you used the Participation Ribbon joke in your last post.

The USA has granted all of Canada one of those.

I guess that's why you are so familiar.

I never just got anything for participating.

People do that all the freakin time. "Hurrrr my company does this so EVERYONE'S company must do it!" In general people take personal experiences and extrapolate them and consider them more or less universal. Boggles my mind.

Yes, the sentence in bold speaks highly to your "gifted" status. lol

My use of the Participation Ribbon "joke", sadly, isn't a joke. And please, explain what you mean by "The USA has granted all of Canada one of those".

You are terrible at wit and just recycle the same shit over and over. Such a genius.

Stop being mad, sit back, and enjoy life. You aren't fooling anyone.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

The funny parts are:

1) I have never received a Participation Ribbon.

You have probably been given them since birth: GOOD GAME SON, THANKS FOR FALLING OUT OF MY VAGINA, EH?

2) My IQ is Genius level, unfortunately I made some bad decisions in bed.

Clearly you love your video games: MY MUSTANG WAS IN GAMES, EH?

3) Your Merry Christmas shtick is not foolin' anyone. WE ALL KNOW SANTA DOESN'T VISIT CANADA, YOUR PARENTS LIED!!!

Yeah you MAD.

I am signing off because of movies...good luck tonight.

This poorly constructed grouping of words is maybe acceptable for an 8 year old. Try harder please.

Also, now you're so angry that your last post barely makes sense. Calm down and write something intelligent.

Merry Christmas! Enjoy your movie.
