Where should I go study abroad in Spain?

I want to study abroad in Spain next fall (first semester of my junior year in college). My options are Alicante, Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Alcala, Palma de Mallorca, Granada, or Malaga. I would go through either the International Studies Abroad (ISA) Program or CIEE.

I've heard some good things about studying abroad in Alicante because there is only one program that goes there, therefor less American students and more interacting with spanish students.

If anyone has studied abroad in any of these cites (especially if you did it through either of those programs) I would love to hear what you thought about your experience.

Or if you have vacationed/lived in any of these cites, or has any other feedback I would really apreciate it.

I've been to barcelona and mallorca. Barcelona was great, i loved the pastry shops and the general vibe of the place. Mallorca was very laid back but I was staying in a rustic b&b in a small town so eh. I was only visiting a friend who was studying abroad though so I don't know what it'd be like long term in either place. People were nicer in Mallorca imo but there was a lot more to do in Barcelona.

Barcelona because it's freaking awesome! It has a great mix of rich and poor. It has style and class. It has culture (Sagrada, Park Guell, etc). It has incredible food. The town stays up late. You can go have dinner at 10PM if you want. It has great dessert. The people are friendly and most speak English if you need.

Barcelona because it's a great city.

Madrid, it has much that Barcelona has, plus it has some pluses. It is centrally located so you can get to all of the other areas easily. It is the capital of Spin and that has some advantages. Also if you are going for an extended time, junior year abroad or something like that, you'll have school vacations and you'll want to travel to other parts of Europe. Madrid is better to get to Paris, which opens up most of Europe.

Ive worked in Barcelona and just loved it...Coasta Brava is great, Sitges is coastal beach town nearby..uber babes...great food to and love the beaches

I am not sure where you interepreted that. I just read what I wrote again. I said there is a good mix of rich and poor. I like that.
