It depends on what you want to do with them. (Or what you want them to do.)
You don't see many neon ones around anymore. They've quickly been left in the dust by the cold cathode tubes which are smaller and much brighter. You can get ones that are sound sensitive, i.e., they flash in time with music, etc. That's certainly an important option if you're longing for disco to return.
Another relatively new option is Laser LED's. You can read a review of them at
Virtual Hideout. I put a couple of those in my case and they are incredible. (And they're a "no-brainer" to install.)
Fiinally, if you're at all handy with electrical wiring, you should check out your local auto parts store. You'll find a variety of lighting options there which can easily be modified for your pc. In fact, I have some red neon "tubes" from Auto-Zone in my case. I just tore off the cheesey "chrome" trim and wired them into a baybus.
