Where to buy HD-DAI Splitter for Razer Barracuda AC-1 Sound Card?

About a couple months ago my HD-DAI splitter on my sound card decided to stop working.

I am trying to look around and find a replacement for it, but as of recently had no luck.

The link i just posted is the splitter that came along with the sound card.

Is there any type of replacement for this splitter? Or would i just have the use the spdif on the sound card to connect it to my logitech z-5500?

My best guess would be to contact Razer as a part like that my be extremely difficult to locate.

Is that breakout active? If not something on the card may have failed. I don't know if it just completely stopped working or some channels are gone or popping.

Anyway, I would just go with the optical solution, it's simpler anyway. Sound quality is just going to be dependent on the DACs in z-5500 and not on the sound card.

I will contact razer as far as the splitter goes.

Well, i tried plugging a digital cable into the spdif on the sound card and the back of the z-5500 control panel and that worked fine.

I think the problem on the splitter was the green wire. The sound would cut out whenever i was listening to music or in a game.

I started to move around the green wire and the sound would come back with no problems, but the wire would have to stay in that certain position to work.

Eventually the green wire just stopped working, and that's when i started using digital input for a little bit.

If moving the green portion of the breakout fixed the problem you might be able to attach a new female headphone jack to it but I have a feeling that the break in the connection in somewhere in the DVI'esque portion of the adapter that would be much harder to repair.

Good luck with Razer. They should replace it if they have even decent customer service, it's not like this is a $15 card or something and you're looking for a handout.
