BWAHAHAHAHA!! A Pizza list that omits NYC and New Haven CT is akin to a list that claims the best seafood is either a truck stop in Nebraska or out of a vending machine in Burkina Faso.
New Haven-style pizza has really grown on me lately.
OP, I don't believe in pizza perfection, only continually striving for perfection. Pizza has too many variables, such as:
1. The style of pizza (there's like 20+)
2. What you order on it
3. Who's cooking that day, and if they did proper prep & are on the ball
4. What you're in the mood for, and how hungry you are
I can enjoy Frank Pepe's just as much as a Little Caeser's $5 special.
