Where to get digi camera accessories?

I'm looking into the underwater case for my A510 (WP-DC60). i have seen it for about $170 shipped but I really want to get it and don't know if i can justify spending as much on a case as I did on the whole camera. I was wondering if other places sold this thing cheaper that I am not finding.

anyone have any idea where to find these kind of accessories cheaper?

no....those that are good for 130 feet are expensive...lots of pressure, the machining and sealing has to be perfect.

but, do you need that depth? is this for scuba or just snorkeling? they make plastic bag types for lower depths..

otherwise, buy it, and use it until you get a new camera and ebay it...I'm sure you'd get $100 back out of it (if you take care of it)

I want to take it scuba diving as well, but i'm not sure if they will let me scuba dive since i have asthma. i know in the states i cant get a license because of that, but aruba is not in the states (where i'm going to be). so it might be used for scuba diving.

I've seen a guy die from scuba diving with asthma. There is a reason why they tell you not to.

what exactly is the problem w/asthma and scuba diving?

sounds like you could research it and talk to your doctor about the type of asthma, risk, etc.

back to the camera question....some scuba places have camera that you can rental for the day...maybe you could do that.

or if this is a once in awhile (every few years) thing, buying, then ebaying is the way to go...might be cheaper than renting
