Where to get Rings appraised?

I want to get a few rings that I have appraised and maybe sell. Where would be the best place to go? Would a jewelry store give a fair price or would they low-ball me so later on they can cell at a profit

no, they are usually nice people, and actually pay you MORE than what they can sell it for. Just 'cause you're so pretty.

any reputable jeweler will appraise jewelry. tell them its for insurance purposes, and you won't get low-balled.

If it's valuable stuff, you want an accredited independent appraiser to give you an unbiased figure. It's not likely that you will get the full appraised value, but at least they will not "lowball" you.

you can always count on them to give you top dollar.....they even tell you so in the ad...gotta be true!
