I think that it just seemed long because it was boring and her speech is so deliberate.

Her husbands runninfg for President of the US, and she only spoke about herself.

Christ, Rip are you that dense? What Todd33 said, it was her introduction to the American people. All the other career politicos were there on the dais to promote Kerry. Her appearance was her coming out party to the general public.

It?s obvious that they are both adulterers and as such shouldn?t be elected because of their immoral behavior.

Mrs. Kerry isn't a proper first lady, she isn't much of a lady at all; did any of you listen to that speech? This woman shouldn't be the emotional comfort for the leader of the free world.

I actually enjoyed her speech. I didn't really know much about her before hand. I was under the impression that she could be a liability to Kerry.

I don't know how well she will play to the average American public, but IMHO she will play well with the international community in the US and abroad (especially her ability to speak 5 different languages). She did very well for herself tonight.
