Ive seen lots of threads about moving to different places and stuff...

I then realized that where I live and was raised, is where I like the best.

I live in socal, where it never snows, always sunny. Its been like that all my life. If I want to see snow, I will go up to norcal.

I couldnt imagine living in a place like FL, because of all the humidity, and random rain storms. I couldnt imagine living in Boston because of all the snow. I couldnt imagine living somewhere like wyoming or montana because it looks like theres nothing to do there but farm

Is it like this for everyone else too?

I like it here in Louisville (well, I'd like it more if I had a job...IT industry is awful here right now). I enjoy having the seasons. I often think someplace like Monterey or Santa Cruz would be a great place to retire, though.

I live in Florida. It sucks. I want to leave. Lucky you for having a good place to live already.

I prefer where I live now (Cencocal) (that's Central Coast California, for you 'Norcal' and 'Socal'ers )

One thing Florida has over California is taxes. Our sales, R.E., property, auto, etc. are way lower. Houses here are 25% of the price in California. Insurance rates....

i am currently 'growing up' in a small crappy town in england(i'm a us cit, but my mom is brit so i've just been here all my life). It just rains all the time, doesn't snow anymore, everything is expensive, everything is hard to find, girls are stupid and have messed up teeth. sucks. Next year i start community college (16-18) and will be going to a city every day, which will be abit more 'exciting'.
I can't wait to move over to US to arizona or somewhere. Weather is soo nice there

Born and raised in Southern California. I would really like to live somewhere with 4 seasons (well I say this now since I've never experienced it). Seems quite strange to live somewhere other than SoCal (especially the eastern half of the US since I've never been there except Florida). I'm very skeptical but I would liek to give it a shot.

Born and raised in the Willamette valley in Oregon and never thought I'd ever leave... then college came. But, I love it there and I plan on going back as soon as I get out of here. Boston is cold, has no trees (comparitively), the river is gross, and there is nothing but buildings in every direction. Don't get me wrong, it's really cool living here, but it will never be home.

i live in pittsburgh. four seasons SUCK. it's too damn hot in the summer and too damn cold in the winter. plus you gotta deal with annoyances like leaves and snow(cool until you actually have to drive or walk in it). i miss the uni-season weather of la.

It's all about attitude.

I love the heat of summer. BBQ, swimming, weekends at the lake.
I love snow in winter. Building a snowman with my girls, watching it fall, making snow angels with the kids, heck, even driving in it (donuts in reverse w/a front-wheel drive car )
I LOVE the fall. Cool breezes, leaves changing, sweater weather (snuggling w/a hunny at a ballgame)
Spring is cool, too. First warm morning going to get the paper, Spring Break, melting snow and grass turning green again, kite flying.

I prefer the UK weather, cooler than the US. You must be in some crappy town, where I am the girls are very intelligent generally, and have fine teeth. I'd have to agree with the costs of things here though :/

The weather in Florida isn't too bad. RH can get high but everywhere is air conditioned. When I was a youngster the 4 seasons were okay but now I cannot stand the cold. California was okay too but they regulate/tax you to death.

I wouldn't call the Willamette River a shining example of a "good" river. The fish have a curved back for a reason.
