Its all a string of lies. This shit doesn't happen in real life unless you want it to happen. This issue could have been resolved months ago but no, its just a series of disappointing emails.
Update 5/15
I tried to get to the bank last Thursday but I was held over at work for overtime and didn't get out until late. By the time I got to the bank, the bank manager had left. I asked one of the tellers if they knew how to fill out the form and they did not. They told me that I should probably wait for Patrick (manager).
I relayed this information to the LL and he was not happy. He reiterated that anyone can notarize the form and that I can go to any citibank. I told him I was only comfortable working with the branch manager at my bank.
So today I get this email from him
You know what really pisses me off about this guy? He is a habitual liar. The guy has no idea how to tell the truth and lies about everything!!
Last week I spoke with the detective and I asked him when he last spoke to the LL. He told me it had been months. The detective was just waiting to hear from the bank.
I went to Citibank today and saw the bank manager. I asked him if my LL had been bothering him. He told me that had hasn't heard from him in months. It's strange that neither of them have spoken with the LL but I got a bunch of messages from the LL telling me what each of these guys want me to do.
Anyways, I filled out the fucking form and he notarized it. My involvement with this is over. The LL can go ahead and suck me off. He should be lucky that I don't fuck his house up. I'll take pleasure in each thing I damage as I piss away my security deposit. Probably will be the best $2500 I ever spent.
As fun as that may be I think I'll just take the high road and leave as soon as possible.

TJ... how has it been "months" since the LL spoke to the detective, yet this whole saga started the first week of March and escalated to detective zone first week of April? Does not compute.
One last "fuck you" is to sprinkle 50 pounds of salt on the lawn then heavily water it. The salt dissolves in water and doesn't leave a trace, but the grass dies off and it causes soil erosion. The rental value of the property would drop like a rock and fixing it would be extremely hard if they don't know why freshly planted sod refuses to grow.He should be lucky that I don't fuck his house up. smart, cause property damage and get yourself a felony charge.
I am right again.
about what? I'm still waiting on hearing back from either the bank or police. Its only been 2 weeks since I signed the paperwork.
