Where's the Samsung 192T?

Ahhh. Its been a month since AT reviewed this baby, and its still nowhere to be found on the market. Anyone with any idea about when this is coming out? I'm gonna need a monitor before I leave for school on August 6, and if this monitor isn't coming out soon then I'll settle for the 172T.

Anyone have suggestions on any other nice LCDs I can look into getting?

I'm waiting for this baby as well. A little dissapointed that it is taking so long after I aleady cancelled my order for a Planar px191 to get the 192T instead.

But I have seen the 192T and the 191T together side by side and I actually like the 191T more.
I'm looking to get another lcd too and the 191T looks like a better choise for my dual, maybe triple display setup

I saw one at Office Depot the other day I am pretty sure. It was on sale too with a $50 rebate. I spent some time playing with it and it looked nice.

I got tired of waiting for the 192T and purchased the 191T,all I can say it`s awesome in DVI mode, & no dead pixels on mine .Ghosting wise I`ve not really notice any,colours are very good and rich.

This is taking the absaloute pisso!, ive e.mailed about 20 different online retailers which are officially licensed by samsung asking when it will be available for purchase or even some info when it will be on there stock list in the future and all replies were the same. "Sorry, we have no information on this product it is not in stock and wont be in the near future".

WTF is going on? ive even phoned samsung headquarters, sales team, electronics tech support, samsung business info e.t.c no one has a clue about the monitor...all they say is we have a similiar monitor labelled the 191t, or the analogue version of the 192t the 192v. Well thanks thats why i rang up saying do you have the 192t so you can sell me a different one you fucktards

This really is a low point for Samsung. They put out a press release announcing over two months ago, let AT do a review of it one month ago, but its still seems like its nowhere close to being on the market.

i have a sweet idea, its called give a press release of a product you wish to sell to consumers 1 week before its arrival not 2 months, i mean what the hell....very poor sales.

I think its been more than 2 months. There must be a serious problem. Both Samsung engineers and their PR firm have been totally closed lipped about the issue. If I get new information I will start a thread.

<rumor> I heard from a little bird about someone who was talking to a person in MS PR department. Apparently, Microsoft wsd supposed* to use a 192T in that windows 2003 server commercial (the one where the IT guy is reading to the employees about how much its going to save them tons of money). If you look closely in the background you can see that they settled for a 172T. </rumour>
