Depends on what you want to do with it. If you trying to gain weight, then yes. If you trying to gain muscle mass, yes. But, I had better results with the soy protein. I felt better, gained mostly muscle mass weight as oppose to just weight in general. Only drawback to soy is that it tastes horrible. . .and by horrible, I mean it's pretty hard to stomach. Whey will taste good, but again, I felt that the soy protein worked better.
