Which 4in1 drivers is the best in stability and/or performance?

R there the ultimate 4in1 drivers concerning both stability and performance or do u have to choose what your highest priority r and go with the 4in1s that are the best in this field? If thats the case then which is the best in stability, and in performance?

I have had some trouble installing the 4.29s in Turbo mode (my screen went black and the PC stopped responding), so i went back to the 4.28s. Has anyone else had this problem?

Usually the latest is better.

The problem comes when upgrading from 4.28 to 4.29. Uninstall 4.28 first, reboot & then install 4.29 or 4.30beta.

No problems with 4.29 here. Easy and painless install.

The general consensus is: If your system works fine, then dont put ANY on. If it doenst work fine, the 4.25 was, IMO, the stablest (is that a real word?).

It depends a lot on your system specs. Especially with Win 2k, a lot of people are avoiding the 4 in 1s and just using the 4.05 AGP driver. This is what i have done (also no ACPI) and this has given me the best results.

Sadly sometimes the best thing to do is to experiment. If you really want 4-in 1s i would suggest the 4.29s, although i don't believe the 4.30s are functionally very different

I've found both the 4.29's and 4.30's to be fine.

only problem i had on the 4.29's is that sometimes in win2k, they'll cause lots of ide bus problems (the last time i upgraded i developed SEVERAL new partitions spontaneously that didn't go away till removing and reinstalling). I've only had a few problems with them, though, so chalk it up to chance, I suppose.
