Question Which 64gb memory kit for Ryzen 7 2700X?

I need a lot of memory for my work and ordered a Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 CL16 QC 64GB kit, but the delivery date here in my country has been delayed for almost four weeks now..

What memory would you recommend instead if I'm unable to get this kit? My initial plan was to buy a 3200mhz 32GB kit and buy another later, but I was told that I should buy a 64GB kit instead as there is no guarantee that two 32gb kit's will play well together. Is this true or can I just buy two separate 32gb kits?

My computer specs are:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
Asus ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING
Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 1Tb M.2
MSI GeForce RTX 2070 ARMOR 8GB

I was using 2x32GB Samsung m-die 2666MHz OEM (M378A4G43MB1-CTD) overclocked to 3200MHz 1.30V CL18-19-19 with a Ryzen 1700 and a Asus Strix B450I without issues. Even tried the same combo on a MSI X570 Unify without issues as well.

Your 2x32GB is probably using the Samsung high capacity chips, so it's still "just" a dual rank, dual stick setup. Even so, I'm impressed that you got 3200 MT/s out of a 1700 in dual rank; you have a very good sample there.

M-die is special stuff. I wish we had seen more of it on the market in aftermarket DIMMs. Samsung seems content to let Micron fill that niche.

Yes, it's two dual rank modules. I think it would be better for performance to go this route instead of 4x16GB which puts even more load on the bus and memory controller.

My m-dies even run at 3533MHz CL21-22-22 when I upgraded to a 3700X.

Another good option are the Crucial 64GB (2x32GB) kits using Micron B ICs. These can also run close to 4000MHz (at least their 3600MHz bin)
