Which 939 board to get with AGP

For weeks, I've been researching these boards and various sites in choosing the best motherboard to go with my Geforce 6800 Ultra that I had won from a contest.

Unfortunately, I received the card today, and it turns out to be the AGP version of it... does anyone have any recommendations for which board to go along with it?

I don't overclock much, but with 3000+ 939, it seemed almost silly not to. However, will the results still be that good without a nforce4 board?

The MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum is packed with just about every feature nforce3 has to offer. It also is capable of reaching front side bus speeds over 300MHz. It's got all of the voltage and memory tweaking controls you'll need to overclock. It's been stable with my overclock for almost a year. That's my recommendation.

It can match the MSI in max HTT. I think Zebo had a thread on it in XtremeSystems a while back. He said nothing but good things about it. It's cheaper too.

Please do not buy the neo 2 plat..

first off its an OBVIOUS problem if you've been in any other forums about the stuttering issues with nf3 boards and 6800gt/ultras

if u want issues.. buy it.. i have the neo 2 plat and a 6800gt as soon as i can find a mb that will get me to 2.6 without nf3 im switching... might just sell this piece of crap card and buy an ATI so sick of this

Yeah, at the moment Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 looks pretty awesome. Fully functional AGP and PCIe slots. And potential to upgrade to Socket M2.

As much as I like MY neo2 Platinum, I don't recommend it if you just want a stable board to run smooth.
If you want to OC, tweak all the settings, and are willing to fight a few bugs, then it's great.

It has Dram voltage adju. Auto, normal, and high, -whatever this 3 setting means.
I wonder is auto will adjust according to ram speed, or how much the high setting means?
But $68 for all the features? Nvedia's price should drop.

*Drops and almost dies* I haven't stayed on top of the hardware game for almost 2 weeks (busy with school). I had no clue this was out already.
