Which 939 MB should i go for?

Should i go for the new Nforce 4 MBs, and which one or should i go for the old school Nforce 3 MBs?

Actually anyone got any reviews that compare all the nForce MBs toghether or at least some of them...

Do you want PCI-express? If you do you have to go NF4.

I'm waiting another week or two before I order my new system for more NF4 boards to come out, since I want PCI-express graphics. I don't game much, but may start to play more now that I have more time. If I need a better card, PCI-E will be a lot more upgrade options in the future, or if the 6600gt is good enough for me for a long time, I'l be able to put it in my next system. By the time I need more processing horsepower AGP will probably be totally gone. Either way PCI-E is more flexable for the future, and the (native, like the 6600gt)PCI-E graphics cards are usually a little cheaper than the AGP bridged ones, while an NF4 motherboard doesn't cost a whole lot more than an NF3. So unless you have an AGP graphics card you want to use, or want one that is only out in AGP form, go for NF4.

Personally, I would just stick with AGP (it is what I did). The motherboards are cheaper, easier to find, and much more mature and well reviewed. AGP won't be dissapearing for a couple years now, so there is still plenty of upgrade potential.

NF4 is stll a good choice, but I would definately wait at least another month for all the kinks to be worked out, the prices to stabalize, and the best board are revealed (don't just rely on the history of a company).

I was originally planning on a nF4 chipset, but high prices and low availability (as well as extreme impatience)drove me to buy an NF3 Ultra (the Epox 9NDA3+). I just got my system running Windows today and I am impressed. I don't think you can go wrong with either chipset unkless you pay $100 over MSRP for the board with tons of major flaws.

my asus a8n-sli worked great except for the 2 defective lan ports. currently getting an RMA for the damn thing.
