Kingwin KT-424 (usb and firewire on case bevel, best feature set).

CoolerMaster ATC-201 (IMO best looking but doesnt have some of the features of the others)

Lian Li PC65 (tried and true)

Whichever case I go with will be silver and I will want a window. I personally like the Kingwin the best at the moment because of the features (hard drive silencer screw holes, the disconnectable motherboard wires etc) but it seems like they have designed it to be blue lec and such. I will be putting in a green cathode light. I am worried it may not look right with the blue tint in the glass and buttons. I am going to match it up with a dell 1900FP monitor so if anybody has that particular monitor and any of these cases would you comment on how "close" they match in color.

I'm looking at the same cases and have the same monitor. I also like the ATC-201 the best, but the Kingwin's price is a little more to my liking ($85, no window @ allstarshop). How much did you find the ATC-201 for?

You might want to consider the new Antec P160. It has a removable motherboard tray, 120mm fan mounts with rubber grommets, and the sideways mounted hard drives (depending on whether you like those or not). There are covers for the floppy and optical drives so you won't need to paint them for them to match.

I looked at that one but it just doesnt seem as clean as the others.... I really like the simple looks of the listed cases.

now if they only released a front-audio version, it would be a match made in heaven...

I read that review but what worries me is what you cant see in the picture.... The review mentiones serveral parts are of a blueish tint not to mention the front button lights up blue (not sure if its got its own lcd or if it uses the case lighting).

I'd take Lian-li PC65. I've had many different cases. This one is the best so far.

I own a coolermaster 201, but I probably would have bought the kingwin if it was available when I bought my case. I like the looks of my coolermaster better, but the kingwin is a lot more economical.

Hi ,

I have a Silver Lian Li PC-7 there very neat and tidy cases ... not too big just the right size , 4 x CD-ROM" bays 2 x floppy bays.

I put a side window in mine.

Case cost about £70 and the side window £20 it came already installed on the side panel all i had to do was take my side off and put the window one in .

Exactly. I've had my PC60 (same as PC65 less the window) for over 2 years and its a great case. Granted it doesn't have some of the fancy bells and whistles of more recent cases but it has all the essentials: removable motherboard tray, tool-less assembly, rounded edges, removable drive cages and bags of space.

coolermaster for me...... my roomie has a lian-li and gets a little envious of mine due to the looks.. although i have to say that Lian-li's ventilation is much better. mine doesn't have the fans in the front so i had to mod mine.

I'll take the Lian-Li. They are very adjustable since you can add a window via several Lian-Li case accessories.
