Which episode of naruto does the series start getting good again?

I watched up to ep 151, where they try to get the bug that has a good sense of smell to track Sasuke, but fail because of Naruto's gas.

Basically, you need to start w/ the new series called Naruto Shippuden (sp?).

It's the next series of Naruto. I'm sure you remember when they were looking for sasuke and naruto and him finally fought and sasuke returned to orichimaru. After that, it was just a $h!t load of fillers.

Start d/ling the Shippuden series and watch that. Skip all the filler crap that you are watching now.

Shippuuden and I think they're up to ep 16...my friend says the upcoming battles are supposed to be awesome (he reads the manga)

That's only if they have good artists working on it. I doubt it'll ever be as good as that Lee/Gaara fight.

you need to skip all the rest of the episodes from 136-215 which are all pathetic fillers and not part of the actual storyline based on manga. Even the story at 216 is i believe a filler but its a must see because its got great action...so i suggest you watch 216 ( a little kid who wants to be a ninja gets kidnapped and Gaara goes after the kidnappers to save him which is where that episode is at during the part where Gaara is chasing them. The ep. before that is gay so dont bother, the action starts here) It continues up to 220 which then Naruto Shippuuden series starts from episode 1 again and up but the storyline is still continuos.

Hope that helps.

The manga is way ahead of the anime and if you cant wait to see what happens then i suggest you read it its pretty crazy.

Thanks d00ds. Yeah, I actually stopped watching at 151 at around the time 151 was released, because I heard the rest were all junk filler episodes. I heard recently that it's gotten good again so I was wondering where to start. Didn't know it was a completely different series. I'll check out ep 216 for some Gaara action, he's one of the best characters.
