dragon age is going to give you the most game for your money. borderlands would probably be a bore for single player and MW2 needs to be in the bargain bin before you pick it up just for the short SP campaign.

Fallout 3 isn't bad, though the main story is disappointing and the game itself not challenging.
Haven't tried Borderlands myself, but I've heard mixed things about it, not so many good things from the single player.
I don't know anybody that would possibly suggest MW2. Offline too? Forget it, I heard the single player this time around was really weak.
Dragonage is a MUST, especially for any rpg fans. Decent graphics, excellent story, and is a real challenge to get through.

One vote for Dragonage!

Well, MW2 campaign is epic but short. I took me 5:20 on Normal first try. I think average is 5 to 6 hours.

I'm playing through again, about 3/4 through, just because it is fun. But that in itself, with no MP, is not worth $60 IMO.

However they did add a Spec Ops mode which is a bunch of mini mission games for single or co-op (2 player) play. These are a blast to play with a friend and add a bit more play to the game.

Borderlands is many hours of play. Its fun. MW2 is obviously going to be like 4-5 hours for single player. If thats worth the price, youd have to decide.

Havnt played fallout3 or dragon age, but ive heard and read good things on both.

My honest opinion...

Fallout 3 expansions = fun but nothing new...if you liked Fallout 3, and I mean REALLY liked it, then the expansions are worth the $

Borderlands = Fun and interesting multiplayer but weak and slow single player

Dragon Age = One of the best RPG's to ever come out. Period. However, if you don't like the slower paced RPG's, or don't like them at all, then it probably won't be your cup of tea...its no Fallout, it requires serious skill and dedication.

MW2 = This game gave me one of the best single player experiences of my gaming life...it truly is absolutely amazing...that is if you don't mind that the campaign is shorter than a asian midgets dick.

Dragon Age is by far the best you could get from those you've listed. And even still, Risen is a very, very good classical RPG, if you are into RPGs.
Fallout 3 didn't really made my day as Oblivion did with its amazing addons, like Shivering Isles. I don't know why, but every time I've played Fallout 3, I always had to compare it with Oblivion and it never came close enough in anything.
MW2 doesn't worth anything if you don't play it in multiplayer.
And I personally didn't liked Borderlands, at least the single player campaign. Apart from the interesting graphics, the game just didn't seemed enjoyable at all.

dragon age for sure.

borderlands is second. it needs co-op play before you get its true potential. paying $30 for MW2 is a waste since SP isnt all its cracked up to be, not to mention short. fallout sucks.

I'm too overwhelmed by all the game releases lately, so what game should i get?

Borderlands
MW2 (Yes, i know, but i don't play online anyway)
Dragon Age
Fallout 3 Expansions

Any other suggestions, I'm open to old games that i haven't played, just suggest something

P.S I really want to play Morrowind, just can't get it anywhere, and steam isn't an option
Morrowind should be available in the big box GOTY edition at Walmart & Target.

Failing that, try Amazon.

Fallout 3 + DLCs and Dragon Age: Origins, definitely, also you shouldn't bother too much with the Digital Deluxe Edition, I got it and I must say that it wasn't that worth it, only the additional companion is good enough... even overpowered most of the times but anyway, the base game by itself will give you lots to play with, in my humble opinion it's right on par with Mass Effect, better than Mass Effect on certain aspects while not so on others, but overall it's amazing, easily worth the 9 out of 10 scores it got all around (for once).

[to the OP] you might also give ebay a shot. i recently bought oblivion goty on ebay, $10+3 (for shipping)=$13 for a whole lotta game. i have not loaded it up yet, but the DVDs haven't a scratch on them. a code is not needed, so i wasn't worried about that.

it has been many years since i played morrowind so i am not positive, but i highly doubt a key/code is required. DRM back then consisted of having the CD in the disk drive. if you do go the ebay route, you might make sure the paper map is included. i remember it being quite useful...Oblivion's paper map sucks bigtime in comparison.

you said offer suggestions, have you played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic? i just started playing KOTOR (Lt. Photi and the wooki defeated the Rancour earlier tonight), and i am really liking it so far. it uses a D&D structure, which i don't have any experience with, so there is a bit of a learning curve for me, other than that though the game rocks. anyway, you should be able to find it for cheap, it is almost as old as morrowind. ($10 at steam)
