Which good quality AP for me?

Hi guys,
I need a good quality access point. It needs:

Sufficient performance and bandwidth for 5 devices streaming Full HD.

Long range. I would really like it to reach the end of my garden. About 35 meters with some trees in the way - and of course the brick wall of my house. I realize I will not get very good performance at the long range, but I would like to be able to stream a single 720 stream at that range. My current crappy AP can almost, but not quite, make it, so I am hoping that a good one will work. There is not a lot of APs to cause interference nearby.

The ability to be wall- or ceiling mounted.

Is such a product available? Budget is 2500 DKK (about $300), but I do not mind spending a bit more. We use Wifi all the time anyway, so it is worth splurging on.

An outdoor AP at mounted on the outside of an outer wall might make sense. On the other hand, so might mounting on the inside of it, since the heavy use will nearly always take place indoors.

UPS's nasty brokerage fee usually makes the deal not a deal :'(

Buying in the US and shipping it to Denmark is definitely not cost-effective.

decent ones. The 3 pack tend to be the best value. Do you have poe switch and is the wiring done/doable?

If you can wait, ubiquiti is updating their AC access points and should be available in the next 4-6 weeks from what I can tell. Should be better range and speed and id within your budget discussed..

We have installed a ubiquity AP at office and it rocks! Good coverage (not anything extraordinary though) and good quality signal. Definitely worth the price. Nice setup software too

I can wait some weeks if an update is just around the corner.

Is there a point in paying for the Pro line, or does the standard line perform just as good, but without the enterprise class features? I do not mind shelling out for the Pro version if it performs better, but it would be a shame if I only paid for features I do not need.

They're already marketing the new ones so none of this is secret. The new ones are the AC-Lite, AC-LR and AC-Pro. For typical home use, the Lite and LR should be fine. The only difference with these and the pro are the pro has 3x3 on the 5ghz band, the other two are only 2x2 on the 5ghz band. The other difference is the pro uses 48v active POE, the other two use 24v passive POE.

For your applications, the LR or the lite should be more than adequate. As far as features, they all have the same features throughout. And EVERYTHING is included in the box, including the passive poe adapters and hardware to either wall or ceiling mount the units. You will need to run cable to where ever you want them installed. I always do ceiling mount myself.
