I upgraded my R290 to a Fury a couple of months ago but would like to play BF1 in Ultra settings at 1440p 100-120hz so I thought I'd get a GTX 1080. My cpu is a 3770k. I've been a long time fan of EVGA but based on the recent news, I thought I'd go with another brand this time.

I've had Zotac before and had no issues. I am leaning towards the Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125873&ignorebbr=1 due to the 12+2 power phases where the others have 8+2 though they don't promise that you'll get the listed OC speeds just the gaming speeds and several reviews complain of their new cards having bent fins when they open their cards for the first time.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
