The Ati 9000 64mb is a 2003 year DirectX 9.0b compliant graphics chip as far as I remember. Scores about 7500 3DMarks in 3DMark2001.
It won't do wonders but will likely be faster then the integrated 3150. Older games like Return to Castle Wolfenstein should work just fine on it (played it on my Radeon 7500).
It's all this flash modern websites use that boggs down such older graphics chips. I have a Sony GRT996ZP laptop with a 3.2GHz P4 with HT and a mobile Geforce FX5600 and it's fine for most part, just flash bogs it down, as well as MPEH4 H.264 playback. I keep it as a relic from the past, fantastic build quality compared to today's stuff
What do you plan to use it for?
