Which has more taste: Frozen Fresh Canned vegetables

I've always done Frozen just for no reason whatsoever

Broccoli and brussel sprouts veggies of choice
Looking for what has more taste.
Please elaborate on personal cooking techniques
Any recommendations are appreciated.

By definition, fresh vegetables taste the most like fresh vegetables, and that's sort of the "standard" by which you're judging the taste of non-fresh veggies.

Freezing is generally I think known to be the most damaging to the texture and taste of any food. Canned is almost fresh, especially if there's no preservatives.

Uhhh...I might be wrong, but I thought freezing veggies was what preserved most of the flavor and nutrients. The look and texture of canned veggeies just grosses me out.

For most veggies Market Fresh >>>>> Supermarket Fresh > frozen > canned

The exceptions are peas and corn kernels. Having them frozen is an acceptable compromise. Fresh Peas cost way too much.

Just remember that a market or Farmer's market ususally has better quality produce that has not been "stored" for a week before putting it on the shelf.

i actually prefer frozen, since you have no idea how long those vegetables have been sitting out at the market, who's touched them, etc.

frozen are picked and frozen during their "peak" and will last. frozen veggies are best if you don't plan your meals that well based on what you've purchased that week. it's always gross to be going through your veggie bin and finding those green beans you bought on sale... three weeks ago.

Quick tip, do not buy veges "on sale". Vegetables are relatively cheap (compared to meat etc) that it is worth getting good quality.

Quality Bok Choi will last a week, Safeway bok choi sometimes does not make it overnight.
Quality Zucchini (Courgette) will last two weeks, Safeway... three-four days.

Yeah, I've heard frozen recommended over canned for both flavor and health benefits. I use canned for the convenience, but am gonna try to buy more frozen next time I'm shopping.
