I am going to be heading to Microcenter next week for a friend to put together a pretty simple system. For now we will just be using the on chip graphics.
The choices seem to be the I5 3450, I5 2500K and the I5 3750.
The price as of now is a $20 bump for each one. He will never need 3D gaming and mostly use it for office and multiple channel audio editing. The later is the reason for the I5 horsepower as opposed to an I3. He will never overclock and in the off chance he ever decides to game we can easily add a discrete card.
In 2D applications is there any deterrence with the on chip graphics between the three?
Just out of curiosity I have an I7-930, how do any of these compare?
Thanks,
Mark
