thats the reason, why i normally talk about 64Mb x8 organized devices. I normally do not use just the numbers, I try to put this numbers into words. I expect this is easyer to understand then 8x8 or 16x8 as there is no explanation, what this numbers mean. As long as somebody else does not know the nomenclature they will have problems to unterstand.
But you are right, that it is possible to missunderstand my wording. When I write about 8 x 64Mb I talk about 8 devices with 64Mb each. I will try to write more exactly next time!
