Which is the best forum software

I'm needing to create a discussion board about a particular software package.
I'm not sure which forum software provides the most features or is the best.
The 3 I'm currently thinking of are:
Snitz
ASP.NET
Invision
So far, I like the speed of snitz, but I think invision has the most features. I have yet to install the asp.net version.
I know I can customize snitz, and probably asp.net a lot, since they're open and I know those languages. Is invision using php hard to customize?
I'm trying to stay with a free version now, so fusetalk or vbulletin are out of the question right now.
Any advice or if you know of any comparisons or anything, I'd be appreciative.

I was under the impression that phpbb was almost identical to invision??

they're on a slow connection, but tell me which seems faster & which you like better and why.

I prefer InvisionPowerBoard which in my opinion is THE BEST free forum software available.

I like how fast InvisionPowerBoard is, it's very server efficient (saves on bandwidth), the look and best of all the customizing/hacks are great.

I am hosting ClanInfamous.com for free, the speed is very fast.

This man is the bomb, the decision to move from YaBB to Invision was not an easy choice but it was the only free/reliable one. I'm not use to the available mods for Invision yet but I'll learn.
