I just got a replacement S3, and I will be holding onto it until Verizon gets either the Note 2 or HTC's variant.

I'm sticking with my Galaxy Nexus for the time being, but the replacement for that will likely be another Samsung phone because they're so easy to root, unlock and ROM.

Lumia 920 is my choice.
It's so important to have a good camera, and I don't want Apple. Windows Mobile is so smooth and it just works. Just give me a phone, no bull$h#^.

I am also sick and tired of custom roms that don't work properly, and I don't want manufacturers' custom UI (Sense, TouchWiz....yuck..). Why change stock android?

Stick with the big name ROMs and you're usually fine, I've had virtually no problems with CyanogenMod 7, 9 and 10 now.

And manufacturers change the stock ROM to differentiate themselves to the consumers that don't really care about the hardware. The same reason that PC manufacturers like Packard Bell included custom launchers on top of Windows way back in the day.

With the S3 being so ugly, there isn't a good Android phone out right now.... Ugh. Why????????

I like the way my S3 looks thank you very much.

I like the way the glass curves down at the edges and the fact it feels really nice in your hand. It could do with being a bit less thin though.

In short looks=subjective

(for reference I think the iPhone4 + 4s are ugly blocky looking things)

Having 3 small kids, I have to go with the Lumia.. the camera quality and low aperture is huge for me, plus the build quality of TANK that Nokia puts out is extremely important. NFC is also a nice feature, the wireless charging is also pretty convenient.

I can't say the S3 just because I value battery life

I'd like to see the S3 when it gets an official release of Jellybean. Samsung needs to write a proper hwcomposer, the ROMs out now don't do it justice. It will probably be my phone of choice then.

None of the above but if I had to choose, SGS3. iOS and WP8 are both lacking critical features I need and only Android has at the moment.

GSM Galaxy Nexus is still the best phone.

The hardware in the 5 looks pretty attractive, but I'll admit that I'm somewhat invested in Android right now. I'd actually take option 4: wait for a next-gen SoC's to come to an Android phone. I expect we'll get some announcements for them in the next month or two, but Apple is first to the table.

Voted for the S3 but I'm gunning for the Note 2 or the next Nexus this fall, that wacom digitizer is sweet!

I just got a Droid Razr Maxx and am in love with it. I travel a lot so the battery life is a godsend. Also I just liked it more than the S3.

I dare say I enjoy Microsoft's ecosystem more than Apple's and Google's, now that I've used all three. I may just end up jumping to the Nokia.

Other - Next Nexus (leaning towards whatever Sony comes out with, the Xperia T/ Xperia V both look awesome. An Xperia Nexus, if it was the T with AOSP, S4Pro, pentaband, and the water coating from the V, would be perfect.

What features?

1. Google Voice integration. This is the most important feature for me as my Google Voice # is both my cell and business number. I don't want to open Google Voice app to dial out every time I want place a phone call. I need my Google Voice number displayed as the outgoing number. Android does that with one click of the initial setting and I never have to worry about it again and I can use the phone native dialer and contact like normal. I use Google Voice for everything from every domestic calls, free texting, to cheap paid international calls. iOS integration is sub par and cumbersome, and I don't even think Windows phone even have Google Voice app.

2. File manager. I use it. Missing on iOS and WP7.
3. Flash video. Again I use it. Missing on iOS and WP7.

2 & 3 is not as important as #1. #1 makes and saves me money.
