Which kind of liquor doesn't agree with you?

I'm gonna have to say a shot of tequila or whiskey will make my mouth fill up with saliva..followed quickly by a run to the nearest toilet.

It's funny though how as a kid those were my go to liquors to get drunk. Thank god for beer.

Vodka, cause it tastes like shit, and ruins everything it's put in. That, or MrBoston ginger brandy. Not sure why that exists. It was called for in a recipe for thanksgiving punch my daughter wanted to make. Glad I tasted it before I ruined everything else with it. It tastes like cough medicine, but not as good D^:

You get the cheap stuff it will taste horrible, good tequila/vodka/whiskey is great and would not taste like ass going down.

I'll be honest, just about ANY drinking gives me the shits first thing in the morning. It's just alcohol in general.

But in general I'm really not a fan of: Vodka or Tequila. They just don't taste good, no matter how expensive or nice I seem to go. Margarita's are ok.

Liquor I do drink (Yet I always regret it the next morning) is Brazilian Cachaça. Freaking delicious with Lime + Sugar. It's fairly close to rum, and is made directly from sugar cane.

That said, I've been heavily leaning towards beer lately. Namely, I'm over and done with this fucking IPA fad and gone more for delicious Belgian Ale's

Even when I was drinking hard during my younger years and a high alcohol tolerance (at least I thought), one shot of Bacardi 151 told me in a mean spirited way that alcohol does not agree with the human body whatsoever.

Nowadays, I only drink beer and an occasional wine. I hate the black liquorice tasting Jagermeister and absolutely hate Shock Tops.

I can and do drink just about anything. It doesnt matter the grade of rum, cheap or expensive, I will feel it in the morning. Just bad headache and gut ache. Dont really enjoy brandy or rye either taste wise. Can drink any tequila like water and feel fine the next day. Dont enjoy heavy peated scotch.

Detroit and vodka.....yeah I don't think I'll be drinking that brand anytime soon. I'll stick with Imperia, Reyka and Breckenridge. Insofar as the original subject goes I really haven't come across any that don't agree with me. Not a big fan of gin but it doesn't make me sick if I happen to drink it, other than that I'm typically fine.

Thing is once it's in your body it's irrelevant as to what brand of vodka you drank, you will not get a "better" hangover with expensive stuff, alcohol is alcohol as far as your liver and kidneys and brain are concerned.

I don't drink to get a hangover or get drunk, that's the thing. I drink alcohol because I enjoy the flavor that it can bring either on its own or paired with various dishes I cook. Mohawk falls into the "meh" category of vodkas, it's not absolutely terrible but it's really not all that great. A good vodka actually has a bit of its own flavor and goes down smooth. From what I've heard Mohawk goes down smooth for the most part but that's about all it has going for it.
