Which monitor should I get? Help me decide!

This monitor is going to be plugged into my MacBook Pro as a second monitor. All of the specs look almost identical to me. Both have a 3 year warranty. The BenQ has a "5 egg" rating with over 500 reviews. Tell me which I should get!!

I would go with the Dell.

i'd go with the BenQ - it has 16.7 million colors to the dell's 16.2 million (dell dithers the rest) and reviews indicate it has better image quality overall.

heh, maybe I should make this a poll. I'm really leaning towards the Dell because it looks better to me. The main differences I see is that the Dell has a 5ms refresh rate whereas the BenQ has 8ms. Also the contrast ratio is better on the Dell (800:1) compared to (600:1). not really sure if i would be able to notice any difference with those specs. The only game I play is WoW.

I have 3 Dells and I'm very happy with them.

this is the bargain dell and from what i've read, is NOT as nice as the 2007wfp (which is the one most ppl have/love)... the contrast ratio may be better, but the lack of colors/dithering will make the image quality noticeably worse. i would also ignore the refresh rate numbers - they are measured in arbitrary ways (gray to gray, white to black, averages, etc) and it's unlikely you'd notice any difference in refresh rate btn the two.
