I saw Juno, I thought it was very good. It was funny, and since I'm a dorky girl I thought it was cool to watch.

I wasn't a big fan of Juno. Well-acted, but I thought the dialogue was way too "scripted". Cute but not great.

I hated Brazil. It's a love-it-or-hate-it movie I think, and I fell to the latter side. My old roommate (who's in Hollywood now) thinks it's one of the greatest films ever made though.

That was the impression I received, and I have only heard the dialogue clips they kept inundating the airwaves with during the Oscars.

Juno was really outstanding, as was No Country (though the ending may leave some unsatisfied). Only one on the list I still really want to see is Charlie Bartlett

Saw Charlie Bartlett over the weekend and I have to say that I genuinely liked the film, which kind of surprised me. Most films I've seen lately have been kinda bad .

I did sort of resurrect yet another thread to talk about a movie I just saw... so be careful about the dates on the OP .

Oh and I thought Downey was great at his best role ( drunkard ) in Bartlett.
