I need to see Juno. Ellen Page is hot as... well she's real, real hot.

I didn't like Juno. Probably because I went in expecting another Superbad. I was really disappointed.

What version of Brazil are they playing? That would decide my vote.

Extended cut, not the butchered 90+ minute one.
That being said, why did someone resurrect this thread?

The version I saw didn't. I felt ripped off. I voted for Brazil. Might not be for everyone , but of the movies listed it was far and above the best.

I don't know how I could ever take your movie recommendations seriously when your concept of a thread on underrated movies was filled with mere suggestions and plenty of movies that are not underrated.

Edit: Besides, what does that have to do with this thread?

If one cannot determine whether or not a movie is actually underrated, then how can one even look at your judgment of movies as proper? Also, isn't it easier to scrutinize the movies before adding them rather than spending the time adding them then removing them. Not to mention it degrades the actual point to just put anything up there.
Also, half the time the movies that get good reviews are boring. Typically, if Rotten Tomatoes (or rather all of the critics that they compile) rates a movie well, it's usually not that good (to me).

Well do tell then, what movies do you think are good and not boring?

Oh and yes obviously it would have been easier to do it at the beginning, but I never would have imagined how large the list would become, nor that there would be a distinction between the truly underrated and the "you should just see this" kind of movies. When it is all said and done I will probably rename the thread anyway.

I didn't think Rambo was nearly as bad as you suggested it was. The main point was definitely lots of action, but they did try to push this idea of how poorly people are treated and such. If a movie can get a rise out of me (emotion-wise you perv ), then it's good enough for me.
Juno was also not that good. Although Ellen Page gets a rise out of me .

Although, I think the thread was inherently flawed from the start. I mean, what exactly defines underrated? Is underrated for you the same as underrated for me? I doubt it.

I rated Rambo here in relation to the other movies listed, so in my opinion Brazil, TWBB, NCFOM, and Juno were all head and shoulders above (way above) Rambo. On its own I probably would not have been so harsh, but that was not the point of this thread.
